I have two younger brothers. Ryan is two years younger than me and Rhett is seven years younger than me. I can still remember the day Rhett was born and peering over my mother's hospital bed and seeing his long finger nails and dark hair. Rhett and I were identical as babies. We even have the same birthmarkl! And Ryan was born with a belly ready to eat and white-blonde hair. We were all little rascals as kids. The photo to the left is really one of our nicer days :) There were times we were so mean to each other, but we loved each other that's for sure...and still do. I enjoyed our childhood together oh so very much!
Well, believe it or not, my baby brother, Rhett, is turning 19 today! This is his first semester in college and I just can't believe it! I truly am just floored. Time has just gone by so fast. He has grown into a wonderful Godly, young man. What a doll he is. His high school senior pic is shown here to the right. Can you believe what a knock out he is? He is just a stud. I am going to have to figure out how to beat the girls off from afar. I know that God is going to do great things in his life. Rhett is just so talented, so patient, laid back and just a joy to be around. I am going to miss him so much when I move up north. Happy birthday, Rhett!
Something harder to believe is that my other brother, Ryan, is getting married in two weeks! He's not just getting married, but he's marrying one of the most beautiful girls I have ever met. Just look at the picture of them two! Don't they just look so good together? They just fit. It's amazing how God puts people together. Ryan has such a passion for the Lord and desires to see His kingdom come. He enjoys reading and filling his mind and heart with scriptures and books. He sometimes will get so passionate over a book that he'll read us a passage or quote with such excitement in his voice. I admire his desire to learn and be more like Christ. I thank God that He's given Ryan someone that "gets" him and his pure heart. He and his soon-to-be wife are both mission-minded and are planning a future overseas! I know God has big plans for them! I will also miss them both like crazy.
I pray God will allow many, many, many visits with all of my family! Praise God for my new sister-in-love and my two wonderful baby brothers. You'll be babies in my eyes for a long time! :) I love you guys so much. You are my joy.
