NYC. If I can make it there.

mixed media of acrylics, linen, tissue paper, photography // 60” x 48”

Once upon a time, I lived in the bustling heart of NYC for a decade. As a native Texan, adjusting to the fast-paced city life was challenging. However, over time, the city transformed into a dream home for my creative spirit. We resided in Queens and Jersey City, while working in Manhattan, giving us ample opportunities to soak in the vibrant cityscape. When the time came to move back to Texas, we wanted our new home to embody and memorialize the incredible moments we had in the Big Apple. Hence, this artistic piece serves as a heartfelt tribute, and personal homage, to our unforgettable time in NYC.
